Schools

We have developed a programme of workshops for primary schools covering the topics of climate change and greenhouse gases, oil dependence, waste reduction, and energy used in food production.

In November 2011 we delivered the workshop to two year 4 classes at Portishead Primary School. In October 2011 we worked with the year 2 classes at High Down Infants on a special project on plastic shopping bags and showed the children's work at Waitrose on a Saturday persuading shoppers to use long life bags. In July 2011 we did a special workshop on carbon footprinting with a tutor group at Gordano with visitors from Thermbalethu in South Africa. In March 2011 we delivered the workshop to all the year 3 classes at Highdown Juniors  during their science week.
